Hijacked
Beginning Friday (06.11.04) and continuing up to, and including today, I've received approximately fifty returned e-mails to various @happydeathinc.com addresses. Various e-mail addresses that, in fact, do not exist. I've checked the sent items to see if somehow a virus or whatever took control of Outlook and have found nothing. No outgoing mail from my computer, yet somehow, in the space of a weekend, HDI has become the champion of generic Viagra. Joy.
Given the amount that has come back as undeliverable, I'm scared to know the actual number that have been sent. It's bad enough to receive spam, but to have some dipshit use your URL as their own, that's evil. I have no qualms with the branding of products, I just never thought my website would ever be cross-marketed with erectile dysfunction. To anyone who has had the misfortune of receiving spam with an @happydeathinc.com address, please accept my apologies. To the people who hijacked my URL for their spam campaign, Karma's a bitch.
