Fuck Art, Let's Kill
You know that feeling where you're just on the verge of losing it? It's like surfing, you're riding high, the wave is about to crest, and then BAM! The whole thing goes downhill from there? Welcome to my nightmare. At least tomorrow I get to play supermodel for a couple hours.
New Comedy Show on CSPAN
Watching CSPAN this morning I saw the most hilarious comedy routine.
Act I is Senator Rick Santorum (R), Pennsylvania. He expounded at great length on many subjects, closing with the horrors the Massachusetts courts are committing by ruling that gay marriage is legitimate and protected under that annoying little equal rights rule. Furthermore, by ruling the way they did these non-elected judges are circumventing the constitutional process our forefathers intended and something must be done right away or all States will be forced to recognize these un-natural unions as legally binding. Oh the horror!
He presented a solution that would limit marriage to a woman and a man. Just amend the Constitution to specifically define marriage; one male, one female for the sole purpose of providing a stable family to protect and raise children.
The only reason for a marriage, according to Senator Santorum, is to provide a family for kids to be brought up properly. In his eyes this obviously eliminates faggots, queers, and pelt-lickers. While he didn't actually say those words you could tell he was thinking them and a few others. The clear sub-text was that these freaks and sinners can't make babies together and should therefore not be granted the right to have their love and commitment to one another recognized under the law.
Act II - Senator Larry Craig (R) of Idaho playing the unwitting straight man. After graciously assuring Senator Santorum the extended wait for him to yield the floor was no bother, Senator Craig brought up an issue of great personal concern to him. November is National Adoption Month and as an adoptive father of three this is a subject near and dear to his heart.
The numbers presented by Senator Craig on children who haven't got a stable and loving family were truly appalling. These kids are shifted about in the foster care system like unwanted trash until they "age out" at 18 years old and are then cut loose with no further support system.
In order to ensure the future well being of the thousands and thousands of parentless children, willing couples are needed to love them and raise them as if they were there own. Loving, committed couples in long term relationships who have the resources and are highly motivated to create families for them.
Sadly, I am sure Senators Santorum and Craig don't even realize their comedy genius.

There & Back Again
More or less unpacked. All I have to say is my bathroom is cooler than your bathroom. I just want Bang, Bang, Bang. Thank you Sara Hartman.
P.S. Bush is the Anti-Christ, pass it on.

There & Back Again
Back online, in new digs, broker than a U.S autoworker post-NAFTA. The more things change the more they stay the same. Spending a great deal of time regrouping, reviewing old and new battle plans. Payback's a bitch.
Noticed this little ditty on Drudge:
WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has collected extensive information on the tactics, training and organization of antiwar demonstrators and has advised local law enforcement officials to report any suspicious activity at protests to its counterterrorism squads, according to interviews and a confidential bureau memorandum.-NY Times
Let's see, we already have a video camera on every street corner, the corporations and the politicians no longer bother to hide their illicit affairs, the Orwellian Patriot Act has shifted away from the big, bad Arab menace to the strippers and now the antiwar protestors. Funny, I've protested against the war and I don't consider myself a terrorist. If someone thinks the president is a twisted, lame-brain fucktard does that make them a criminal? Does that aid the "terrorists" to such a point the FBI needs to get involved? You would think the powers that be would have learned from the 60's that the us vs. them mentality does not bode well for them. Let's just hope King George and masters get booted out of office before we see a new Civil War.

Justified & Ancient
On the eve of my 32nd birthday (Incept Date: 09.20.71), I've come to a number of conclusions...
1) Outside of food, emotional junk and the rest of the obvious answers I really only need two things. a) A black Trans Am circa 1977-1979. b) A gold tooth. 2) After many years of thought, I've settled on a name change, details to come after the fact but the new initials are m/a/z/e. 3) The book is not going to write itself. 4) It's possible to be on the verge of something and still miles away. (see #3) 5) My biological parents were wrong in saying I would grow out of the following: a) drugs b) sex c) rock-n-roll d) baldness. 6) If the AMA, DEA, and FDA had their way, we would all be drug addicts, just not to any of the fun drugs. 7) Only an asshole would sentence Tommy Chong to nine months. 8) I am indeed a capitalist, I just have a problem with Capitalism v2.0 passing itself off as the real thing. 9) I was so much younger then, I'm older than that now. 10) I still hate Bob Dylan. (see #9)
Ah, too old to have a mid-life crisis, too young to die. Hugs and kisses, m/a/z/e

Been-a-dick Ashcroft
"The law was intended for activities related to terrorism and not to naked women," said Reid, who as minority whip is the second most powerful Democrat in the Senate.
"Let me say, with Galardi and his whole gang, I don't condone, appreciate or support all their nakedness. But having said that, I haven't heard anyone say at any time he was involved with terrorism."
Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., said she was preparing an inquiry to the FBI about its guidelines for using the Patriot Act in cases that don't involve terrorism. The law makes it easy for citizens' rights to be abused, she said.-Review Journal
First Saddam, then Al-Qaeda, then Saddam again, now the Silicone Sisterhood. When does it end? I thought the Patriot Act wasn't something to be afraid of, I thought it would never, ever be used against its own citizens. If you frequent strip clubs, I sure hope you don't use your credit card. You never know when Big Brother might not approve.
