The New B.S.
I'm three days into my new gig. Much like my previous gig the opening days have been spent listening to spiel after spiel about how great the position/company is. This always cracks me up. Given the Bushtopian economy out there, where the majority of Americans are grateful just to have a job, Rat-faced bastards corporations are spending an extravagant amount of time informing the employees just how great it is to work there, and the grateful to be off the dole employees are taking their word for it. Like some bad Kevin Costner flick if they say it, it must be true-without, you know, actually being true. For working families it's either dwindling government cheese, or the let them be eternally grateful or let them eat cake mentality of the corporations. This is America?
